Learning Mind is a consulting company dedicated to helping companies move learning online, not just move content online. We believe that online learning, when designed correctly, can have an impact on both learning outcomes and business performance.
Brian Miller, President of Learning Mind has worked in the learning and development industry since 1993 as a trainer, instructional designer, e-learning developer, learning management system (LMS) project manager, senior manager and strategic consultant. Brian has extensive experience developing classroom learning, online e-learning, 3D virtual learning programs and learning management systems and strategies. Brian Miller has a Masters of Science degree in Instructional Systems Technology from Philadelphia University.
Location
We are located in the Philadelphia, PA region, minutes from Philadelphia and only a few hours drive from the New York City and the Washington D.C. regions. We are located 30 minutes from two major airports.

Learning Technology Solution Design: You have an online training program that needs a bit more attention because of it’s level of visibility and potential impact on the organization. As a result your training program requires a senior level instructional technologist to design a solution to address: higher end behavioral changes, complex problem solving skills or considerations for higher impact to the business. Brian Miller, president and senior instructional technologist has a unique ability to analyze your learning and business problems, and quickly design a learning solution that will not only engage learners but change their behavior and impact the business goals.
LMS Implementation: If you are in the process of selecting an LMS we can provide support in the business analysis, vendor management and project management, especially when the organization is new to e-learning strategies and curriculum modeling strategies. We will help you analyze business needs, build use case scenarios and ensure that the LMS will meet those needs and requirements. Don’t take the word of the LMS vendor when they say, “yes it will do that.” Ask vendors to show me by evaluating them with detailed use case scenarios.
Change Management: your company is considering the switch from a classroom centric strategy to an online learning strategy and you don’t know where to begin, but more importantly you need an energetic change agent to come into the company to speak and train others on the importance of a good learning technology strategy, prior to converting classroom materials to online learning. We can help by conducting training workshops and speaking to large groups.
Training: if you have trainers orĀ instructional designers who are familiar with the basics of instructional design but are not familiar with how to design and develop e-learning, we can provide training workshops. We can also help managers create long term employee development plans.
